THE RESIDENCY BEGINS

The residency begins!  Nelson Lee & Daniel McDonough of the Jupiter String Quartet, Mark Adamo and Thomas Hampson are featured in a Chancellor's Colloquium moderated by UC Davis Provost Ralph Hexter.  It was an incredible discussion about musical composition, the future of classical music, and the rehearsal process.  Rehearsals for the world premiere of Adamo's Aristotle continue this morning.  Mark will visit with UC Davis faculty composers and Tom will lead a master class for local singers this afternoon.
